In week five of this series, we take a deep look at the helmet of salvation. Paul is reminding us that the ultimate piece of armor for protection, the piece of armor that provides truth, righteousness, and peace to be put on, to be considered and measured, is the helmet of salvation. On Sunday we defined salvation as, "to deliver someone from danger, difficulty, or despair." It is where we go for utmost confidence in our faith. It is where we should be confident to retreat to and stand under in the battle for our heart, soul, and mind.
