As we study Ephesians, and especially 6:10-20, we see that we are in a battle, and our enemy is the devil, Satan, and his tactics include deception, confusion, accusation, discouragement, conflict, and temptation, just to name a few of them; yet, if we turn to Christ as our savior, through His death and resurrection, we can stand in freedom, truth, love, peace, and life. As believers we are under God’s care and provision. In this we are also instructed on our battle ready position: stand, stand firm, stand with the armor of God. Notice that we must put on the full armor of God in order to stand firmly in the Lord. This week we look at two pieces of God's armor; the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness (6:10-14), which are both key to us walking in the victory that Christ has already secured for us as believers (Ephesians 1:11-14)
