James wrote to his audience 2000 years ago, and he opened every possible door in the hearts and lives of people. He examined the actions, intentions, and even the thoughts of the early Christians. Amazingly, his writing can be placed on top of us in 2024 with great clarity and painful revelations about our actions, intentions, and thoughts. James will call us into action, over and over again. He will continue to remind us that our Christian faith is not only informational; it is transformational. It is not only internal but pours out into relationships. As we continue to work through our study of James, and our daily reading of all five chapters of James, lets not forget the why; to plant God’s word in every area of our life. As believers, we must plant God’s word in our hearts, souls, and minds if we desire to become more like Christ and allow that relationship to change our actions and examine our intentions. As we do this, we will develop hearts to serve and surrender; to love others as Christ has loved us and to live out our faith in action.
